In order to Celebrate the 40th anniversary of the creation of the Percussions de Treffort and Résonance Contemporaine, the Percussions de Strasbourg and de Treffort (an ensemble that brings together unique musicians, some with disabilities, others without) share their thirst of music through this new show.
The Percussions de Strasbourg have thus composed La Muraille, a musical, electronic and gestural work dedicated to the Percussions de Treffort. In this work, there is the desire to open free passages. Movements and music collide, induce each other, suspend themselves and lead us into a poetics of sound and gesture.
Les Percussions de Treffort, composed of a quartet and a trio, are the performers evolving in this ecosystem, sometimes on one side of the wall, sometimes on the other. A trio of percussion and electronics from Les Percussions de Strasbourg accompanies them all the way.
8 musicians are thus gathered in big concert mode around Minh-Tâm Nguyen, artistic director of the Percussions de Strasbourg, and Alain Goudard, a contemporary composer recognized throughout Europe. A beautiful anniversary for the mixed ensemble of Percussions de Treffort, the precursor in France of inclusive artistic ensembles.
