These latest news for the 2025–2026 season highlight the best moments of the past few weeks: the Percustra concert in the heart of our neighborhood, our tour in Beijing featuring several performances—notably Thierry De Mey’s Timelessness—and a first look at the upcoming season, both in Strasbourg and elsewhere. Les Percussions de Strasbourg wish you a wonderful summer and look forward to seeing you again in the fall! ☀️

Percustra 2026

And that’s it—Percustra is over for this year!

On June 12, we wrapped up this year’s edition of Percustra with a grand outdoor concert on Place André Maurois, across from the Théâtre de Hautepierre.

On stage, no fewer than 115 amateur percussionists shared the results of a year’s work on a piece by composer Akiko Yamane. A class from the Brigitte School, a class from the Jacqueline School, a class from Erasme Middle School, a class from Truffaut Middle School, and two groups open to the general public presented their musical creations to a curious and enthusiastic audience. The musicians of Les Percussions de Strasbourg performed Akiko Yamane’s Trio [Fluctuations], before giving way to each group’s original compositions.

The concert took place outdoors: we kept our fingers crossed for good weather… and we managed to avoid the rain! 🌦️ The atmosphere was warm, the participants gave it their all, and the entire team pulled together to make this evening a wonderful moment of shared joy.

A big thank you also to the JEEP association, whose refreshment stand was a huge hit, as well as to everyone who attended for helping to make this a wonderful celebration in the Hautepierre neighborhood.

We’re very proud of all our participants and are as moved as ever to wrap up a year of connections, discoveries, and music shared with our neighbors. ❤️

Les Percussions de Strasbourg at the 10th Percussion Arts Week hosted by PAS Beijing in China!

From August 2 to 6, the Percussions de Strasbourg will perform at the PAS Festival, presenting Avant, pendant, et pourtant by Camille Pépin, Mountain Bird by QingQing Teng, Timelessness by Thierry De Mey—a work blending music and choreography—and, finally, a program featuring works from the repertoire and contemporary creations: Rebonds B by Iannis Xenakis, Wahrnehmung by Alexandre Esperet and Matthieu Benigno, as well as the world premiere of Phase Reset by Yi-Ping Yang and Julie Semoroz.
