MYOTIS X
VIDAL BINI, ANTHONY LAGUERRE

In Myotis X, a production by the KiloHertZ company directed by Vidal Bini, dance engages in a dialogue with the rhythmic power of Myotis V, a work composed by Nancy-based Anthony Laguerre for the Percussions de Strasbourg. This score, which explores the resonance between movement and sound, allows the choreographer to weave deep connections between the dancers’ bodies and the percussive vibrations as the ensemble performs live on stage alongside the performers. The dance unfolds multiple imaginative worlds, based on the fragmentation of movement and the relationships between bodies, drawing on this powerful and exhilarating music. From this concept of transition from one world to another emerges Myotis X, a choreographic and musical performance that is both joyful and desperate.
