FANTAISIE TOURNOYANTE – KARL NAEGELEN

As part of the Nuit Blanche, join us at Bobigny’s Stade Henri Wallon for a festive evening of music, art and sport, in partnership with Africolor.

The Percussions de Strasbourg will be presenting Fantaisie tournoyante by Karl Naegelen, a musical foot race in which you will see runners making music as they tread an athletics field to the rhythm of drums and cymbals. A lively score, as brassy as it is timbred, to be heard and, above all, seen.

⏰ 6.40pm / 8pm / 9pm (duration 20 min)
🎫 Free admission

Haut/Bas/Fragiles (HBF) and its collective of artist-athletes are coming to Bobigny’s Henri Wallon stadium to put on an à la carte programme of theatre, music and sport. In this year of the Olympic Games, the aim is not to go “further/higher/stronger”, but to share a funny and moving half-time performance with artists and sports associations from Seine-Saint-Denis. From the athletics field to the changing rooms, via the gymnasium and the Maison du Rugby, let yourself be surprised as you wander around, because it’s going to be a great party!

You’ll find percussionist runners, a parade that never lets up, jugglers and basketball players, concert pugilists, musical zip-lines, out-of-tune sports commentators and boxer-slammers ready for a fight! It’s an evening of sharing, as crazy as it is festive, with musical experiences that are muscular, zany and full of emotion, to be enjoyed alone or with the family, whether you’re a sports fan or not!

Produced by Africolor, with the support of the City of Bobigny, the Greater Paris Metropolitan Area, the Île-de-France Regional Department of Cultural Affairs – Ministry of Culture as part of the Cultural Olympiad, the Seine Saint-Denis Departmental Council, the City of Paris, the Maison de la Musique Contemporaine and the Sacem.
