« This piece is inspired from « Ama » that is a number of « Mizumi Dengaku-No play » in Ikeda village in Fukui prefecture. Mizumi’s Noh is constituted of strange programs that the before half is Dengaku, the second half is Noh. Dengaku is a kind of the archetype of Noh. « Ama » is the last number of Dengaku’s part, and it is played with unique mask. It takes a bridge part between fore and rear with characteristics of Dengaku’s motions and styles of Noh. The heart of this piece is musical embodiment of hybrid texture in « Ama ».
