HIIIT & Les Percussions de Strasbourg
Ways of [ ] is a composition for 10 musicians : 3 percussionists form HIIIT (former Slagwerk den Haag), 3 percussionists from Les Percussions de Strasbourg, and 4 robotic percussions machines developed and built by the Dutch composer and audiovisual artist Zeno van den Broek. Inspired by James Bridle’s “Ways of Being: Animals, Plants, Machine: The Search for a Planetary Intelligence” (2022), the piece explores different forms of expression of intelligence, logic and (musical) structures.

Come and meet us at Place du Château in Strasbourg at Strasculture on Saturday 6 September from 10am to 7pm! We will be unveiling our touring and Strasbourg programmes: concerts, events and meetings, registration opening for our Percustra workshops, and more.
The event brings together the city’s cultural institutions to present their seasons, giving you the opportunity to plan your next outings!

Ateliers – Ouverture des inscriptions
Samedi 6 septembre
Percustra is a collective and experimental approach to music with 13 sessions of percussion discovery and practice with the aim of performing on stage in June! On the programme: a joint work, imagined and developed from the creative potential of each participant using explosive or repurposed instruments! The workshops take place in the Percussions de Strasbourg’s instrumentarium and are open to all, with no musical prerequisites
