Claude Ferrier

Claude Ferrier was born in 1964 in Avignon, France. He was a self-taught musician before getting the Gold Medal for Percussion from the Avignon French Academy of Music in 1983. He was graduated from the Lyon French Conservatoire in 1989, student of Georges Van Gucht and François Dupin and obtained the State Diploma in Percussion in 1989 and the CA Percussion teacher diploma in 2003. He was extra percussionist with various national orchestras (the Paris Orchestra, The Lyon Opera, etc...) from 1987 to 1994 and he formed various chamber music ensemble (involving instrumentalists and actors). Since 2005, he is teacher a Mulhouse’s Conservatoire.
